Are Audi tt's good cars? Would a 2003 Audi tt coupe be a decent first car reliability wise?
I am looking at a 2002 or 3 Audi Tt and I am not sure if it is a good choice. I know audis are good cars but they are expensive to fix is there anything I should watch out for like hidden problems that occur with a lot of miles? Old cars have some problems but how much more would it be to fix a small problem in a tt verses a Honda accord or civic. Something like new brakes or something electrical or even something like a broken transmittion?
What do you think of Audi TT car?
Beside Audi, BMW and Mercedes - what other brands would you recommend?
Whats a good car for under 8 grand?
I have a little bit under 10 grand to spend on a car, but i also have to pay for sales tax, insurance and registration fees. I am looking for a car that is nice, and that i can put some work into to make it even better.
I have been looking at Audi A4, A6, and TT. BMW and Acuras. But i cant decide and i feel like there are better cars out there.
What are some idea's for a first car?
I really like the Audi TT Coupe's. Of course I may go with a later year due to the lower price's, are 2 door cars a good idea for a first car? I'm going to be 17 and will be using my car to drive to college, and maybe a few outings with friends/family.

What should I consider before buying a secondhand car in the UK?
Me and my friend are planning to buy an used car (around London area), but since we have very little experience about the rules, the price and cars' quality in the UK, I want to post a few questions.. Would really appreciate it if anyone could help us answer them:
1. I've been using autotrader.co.uk to look for an used car. Is it a trusted website?
2. There are some really good cars on the website, e.g Ford Mondeo 2003 version, Audi TT 2003 version which are on sale for about 300-500 GBP. They've run about 100 000 miles already, but seem to be in good condition... Do you think the price's too cheap? It looks a bit suspicious to me.
3. Normally, how much do parking and car insurance cost for a driver in a month, or a year? is there any other type of car expenses that I need to be aware of?
4. I heard from friends that old cars (which are more than 10 years old, or which have been run for more than 100 000 miles) need to be checked carefully and their components need to be replaced if the owners want to continue using them.. Is it true? Is it a rule in the UK for used cars? If it's true then how much would it cost?
