If I wanted to purchase a sports sedan, what is a better choice?
I won't probably visit track days or anything, i just want something like a sports sedan that could also be used everyday. Gas consumption isn't important; just for practical and for driving enjoyment.
Also, i don't wish to have something large, (ex. E class and 5 series is too much).
I'm looking at the Mercedes C63 AMG (Sedan) and the BMW M3 (Sedan), and even the Lexus ISF. Which is going to be better overall not only in terms of performance, but day-to-day usability? I'm also open to other suggestions, so if you have any, please leave me a comment.
P.S. I know i won't have the money and i'm too young (17) at this moment, but this is something I want to consider in the future. So unless you have some serious suggestions not regarding my age or asking my parents for money, please leave them out of this page.

If i don't get a sports sedan, then you think a older gen Porsche 997 and 996 would be a better choice given their lower price tags and equally and possibily more fun sporting factor? I detest the look of the 996, but their residual values feels lower than even 993...

Need a new car, while searching I found a what seems to be nice bmw. I'm going to check it out today but I'm not looking too thoroughly just yet. If I like it my friend who is an outstanding mechanic is going to come look with me at another time.
The seller is asking $4,000. I was hoping I could get some input from people who have had these cars before. Does this seem like a decent deal, and what price would you pay for it personally?

Rare 760i factory wheels,tires(still good tread)265/40/17 rear, 245/40/17 front(offset) extra set of new front tires.
Mystery Diagnosis on 1998 Ford explorer?
alright so i bought this 1998 ford explorer a year ago, the thing has aluminum heads, 410 gears, a turbo thrush muffler and a high performance v6. the thing got up and went like a bat out of hell.. probabaly the fastest SUV i ever drove, it beat my moms 5 series bmw. and one night after driving it about 15 minutes and getitng back in it an hour later it just lost its ability to accelerate. i would floor it and it would make a terrible sound like extreme hesitation and not go anywhere. its fine at normal speeds though. so i took it to my mechanic who replaced the fuel filter, and got me new cats and muffler. that wasn't the problem. but it did make it better, the car ran better and the sound got a little less louder.. but now its like a mystery. we checked the vaccuum hoses - no leaks, but with my foot nailed to the pedal im only getting 12psi.. which is way to low i was told i shud get up in the 20s. so since it has aluminum heads he thinks i might of got it to hot and welded the exhaust valve open... so it has no exhaust control basically, but i dont have any misfirings and no black exhaust smoke.. just sometimes i have a rough galloping idle. he also said it could be the EGR valve, but the computer aint throwin any codes, and the hose over it when u clog it doesnt change what the MAF says.. so idk anymore. the engine has so much power and wants to go which is why im hopeing its not the exhaust valve but he seems certain that is but then says he doesnt know it could be 10 other little things. the fuel pump is also fine we checked that, and right now the computer says the 02 sensors r disconnected.. idk can someone give me some advice, but please do not respond if you're going to insult me on my decisions like so many people do .. its just annoying. thanks.

My old car got flooded and after spending over $3000 to get it fixed (I am a retard but I also didnt think one thing would break after the next) I wanne get rid of the piece of junk and buy something else. I will only put about 8000 miles a year on it and basically just need something to get me to school and back. Thanks

I Just bought a BMW 5 Series 525i 2005, any my luck this drugged up person pulled out in front of me whilst i was driving on hes bicycle on a pre highway strech, regardless im curious as to weather my car is a write off in australia it needs a new front bumper new sensors for the bumper, front quarter panel, new head-lights, new bonnet, windscreen and he landed mostly on my roof and the whole roof at the front has completely collapsed and all sunroof buttons on the inside have fallen out and the light syste minside the car dangeling around the cars market value is about 30 thousand in australia i think so what do you people think ?
