I'm looking for a new car. Out of the 5 I've found, which one should I buy?
So I totaled my 2000 sunfire 2 weeks ago and I'm looking for a new car. I'm waiting to get my money from insurance back but I'm expecting to get around $2000-$3000 so Car 1 and 3 I might not be able to afford. Which car would be best to buy? Thank you. :)
Car 1: 2002 Malibu LS with 138,000 miles for $3250.
It's got a few scratches on the front, but not bad at all. I test drove it and it was pretty nice. It will need new tires though. The numbers are also scratched on the stereo so I would probably buy a new one.
Car 2: 2002 Malibu with 115,000 miles on it for $2100.
A spot about a foot long had faded paint the toward the back but i know someone who paints cars that could fix it. The interior is okay but there's a few black scratches on stuff. Idk if there's anything wrong with it because I haven't talked to the person yet.
Car 3: 2001 Mercury Sable with 123,000 miles on it for $3250. The outside is really nice, no scratches or dents but I don't love how it looks. The interior is fancy, with leather seats but the seats are faded.
Car 4: 2004 grand am for $3000 with 148,000 miles on it. I haven't seen it yet so I'm not sure what it looks like.
Car 5: 2002 Buick Lesabre with around 140,000 miles. It's my moms car and she said she might give it to me but she probably won't have enough money to buy a new car. I don't like the looks of it but it is really nice.
i would like to know if you could check a driver side master switch control on a 2000 buick lesabre?
a dealership said that there is no way you can check a driver side master switch to see if it operating

My car keeps shutting off?
I drive a 94 Buick LeSabre and lately the voltage meter has been jumping back and forth frantically causing it to shut off at random times. I would think it's the altenator but that has been replaced not even a year ago. When it shuts off, the lights and everything stay on, just the engine dies. If I wait a few minutes, it will start back up but will usually shut off again minutes later. I would also like to note that it does this mostly at night when the headlights are on. The meter will move slightly during the day, but not enough to shut off the car. Any help would be great, thanks.
2000 Buick Lesabre 3800 downstream oxygen sensor?
Can some one please help! The car will run great for about 5 minutes and then start idleing bad then quit. I have put a new map sensor in and tested the fuel pressure also tested the 02 sensors and found no problem with the operation of it or the heated side. The only thing that didn't seem right was the downstream o2 sensor had a reading of 0.01 and 0.02 without the engine ever running for a whole night and without ever turning the ignition on. Do I replace that sensor or is that normal? I feel like I,m down to that or the MAF but I don't have a scan tool to test it. Also I did notice that when I was testing the o2 senor the car would get real rich on fuel (0.9 )and run bad then the idle would change and it would drop back down to 0.2 then work it's way back to 0.9 run bad then change.
2001 Buick Le sabre no start?
Hi my buick lesabre wont start. A few days ago I was driving and the CEL came on flashing. Then it went on solid. When I was going up a hill it had no power and would make a popping sound like a backfire. Now it wont start. If you hold the key on the engine shakes almost like it wants to start but can't. Any ideas. I would rather not get it towed.

I own an 01 buick lesabre and would like to add remote start to the vehicle, is it possible to add the feature to my existing security system or is it better to just install a whole new security/ remote start system. I know about the avital remote start but I would rather not have to carry 2 remotes all the time, also is it possible to install a complete keyless/ remote start system when there is a factory
system installed and fully functioning?
