My Odometer light stopped working. First it faded and then it finally went away. What's the problem?
Hello I have a Buick Regal 2001. It's electric and my odometer at first started to get dim. Then one day I got into my car and it just stopped working. Everything else seems to work perfectly fine. I would like to repair it myself. I've change my tire, oil, and rear light all by learning online. I dont want to take it to a shop. If anyone could give me the source of the problem and help me out I would really appreciate it a lot. Thank you

My '95 Buick Regal starts OK but won't go immediately into gear (either reverse or drive) immediately
unless I turn the car off and on several times. It has good transmission fluid and isn't leaking or burning. What could be the problem?
1994 Buick Regal shift issue?
As the car gets up to about 45-50 mph, it tries to shift into 4th gear. The problem is, every time it shifts into 4th it jumps and seems to need to shift into the gear twice.
If I'm accelerating pretty quickly when going into 4th, the shift misses completely and the engine revs freely until I idle off and allow it to shift.
Also when in 4th, if I press the gas more than about a quarter of the way, the car jolts/shudders/jumps pretty violently.
What's wrong?
I'm also getting like a lag and stutter from the engine when I press the gas. For example idling in park, it'll hesitate to get out of idle and into the 1000+ rpms.
Please tell me what is wrong with my car?
My car turns over ('95 Buick Regal) but when place either in drive or reverse won't move. The transmission fluid level is OK. I turn the car off and then try again it usually will go in drive but sometimes I must wait a couple of minutes. What is the problem and how do I solve it?

Ok, I recently (March) bought an 89 Buick Regal Limited (know its old, but its in totally awsome condition). it has automatic overdrive, which I'm assuming, (tell me if I'm wrong) means, when I have my car in the "overdrive" gear it will automatically go into overdrive when needed. (yes?) My question is, (stupid as it may be).which gear is that? Is it the 1st "D", with the circle around it, or the 2nd "D", without, and does it matter? Can I hurt anything by driving around in the wrong gear ?Didn't come with a manual, having trouble finding info on maintenance or anything.It's 23 years old, (but TOTALLY awsome!!) which is like about 100 human years, probably, It would really suck if I (underlined) f'd it up cuz im clueless.(like, oops, giving Grandma the wrong medicine or something) Ps. I LOVE MY CAR!!
