Car modifications, fluids, treatment, help?
Okay, I have a 1999 Buick Century Custom. 150k miles on it, runs good. I'm wondering what all can be done, should be done, or what not to help it along. I want it to run the longest and best. So I was wondering, aftermarket spark plugs, what brand, air/oil filter, additives, gasket wear, a/c, tires. I'm new to cars so idk when I should get suspension, tires, transmission checked. I do oil every 3k miles.
How to get new stock carpet for my car?
I need new carpet in my Buick rendezvous and i want to know where to find the stock carpet, the same kind thats in it not just mats to cover it up. I want to tear the old stuff out and put the same new in.
Crazy Road Rage Driver Harassing Me, Cops Won't Help?
On my way to work this morning, minding my own business this older buick pulls out in front of me. I'm going like 65 down a small highway in the middle of nowhere, and she's probably going 20 or 30 mph. So I just go around her. Well once I get to a stop sign, I realize the lady is tailgating me really bad and honking at me. Then gets out of her car and starts walking up to my car.
I just act like i'm ignoring her, and pull out from the stop sign. Well I guess it pissed her off that I didn't want to talk to her because as I start to pull off, she starts beating on the trunk of my car and screaming at me. I'm thinking "whatever chick" and I just keep driving, just TRYING to get to work.
Well then she flies by me going like 80 or 90, gets right in front of me in the middle of the road on the yellow line and SLAMS on breaks. She almost makes me hit her, and then she turns her car so she's blocking both lanes of traffic. (We are in the middle of nowhere so there is no other cars) Then she gets out of her car and starts screaming and yelling and coming towards my car window, so I take the few inches I have, and go around her on the grass and get back on the road.
After that, she follows in the distance behind me for the next 10 mins all the way to work.
A couple of cars got in front of her, so I don't think she saw where I turned into work thank God!
Anyways, after she blocked the road, I called 911 and reported her and gave them her tag. The only problem was, they said the incident happened out of their county, so they couldn't really do anything. They then connected me with the town I work in's cops because the lady was following me. Then they came to my work place and talked to me, but said again, there was nothing they could do. So I called the county that the incident happened it once I got to work, and they told me because a Highway Patrol Man didn't SEE her driving recklessly and doing those things, that there was nothing they could do about it.......
I'm thinking "are you serious??" So basically, if crazy cracked out homegirl sees me again driving to work, she can just do it again and nothing will happen to her!!!!
-We live in a REALLY small town/area so it is very possible for me to see her again.
-There is only ONE road to work, so its not like i can take another way to work, and who's to say she won't do it to someone else!!
I just don't want her to feel like she can just do that to people and nothing happen to her. I don't want to feel helpless in a situation like that. I don't want to let her walk all over me and others and feel like that's ok. But the cops are no help. So what the heck do I do?
My boyfriend and I have agreed that if it happens again, I need to pull out my phone and video her acting crazy. But I don't want to WAIT until it happens again!

gas gage only works after 150 miles?
I have a 2000 buick lesabre and I bought the car about 7 months ago and the gas gage didnt work so I always kept it on a full tank and set my trip miles after every fill up and when it got to 100 miles i refilled it well I let it go to 150 and the gas gage started working this happens every time i get arouind 150 or a little past 150 miles...what can be making this happen?????
Strange Car Symptoms?
I have a 2003 Buick Rendezvous CXL. I began to see the strange symptoms the other day when I got home from work. I turned off the car and the radio was on, as it usually stays on after the car is off. The radio usually turns off after you open one of the front doors, but even after turning the car off, taking the key out, shutting the door and locking the car, I could still hear the radio going inside the car. I ended up having to just press the button and turn the radio off because it would not turn off after fiddling or a while. The next morning, I noticed the battery light was on. Now, this is normal for it to come on when I first turn the car on and it usually goes off after a few seconds but it stayed on this time. The engine is also making a "whistling" or "whirring" sound that it doesn't usually make. I had to pull over to make sure I had my jumper cables just in case (I couldn't deal with it then, I had to go to work) and the radio did the same thing when I turned the car off. After driving a while, the brakes started to pulse. They worked, but they were making a pulsing movement, like it was pushing against my foot. I got to work fine with no more symptoms than described. When I left work, and on the way home, the car was perfectly fine. I had no problems or symptoms whatsoever-like they just went away. Now this morning it is doing it again. What could be causing all these problems??

It is nothing about an ego. I have multiple sclerosis and am 6-2" and it is hard to get in and out of a vehicle. I am asking because I don't want my husband to have to get and old folks vehicle just for me. I am just asking for opinions.
