HELP!! Heater and AC not working in my car?

Worst day EVER!! I need answers.. I live in AK and tonite I got stuck over a pile of hard snow. As I tried to reverse and drive forward and doing this repeatedly.. about 8 attemps to get out but had no luck. My heater had stop working, I tested my AC and it wasnt working also. I have a 97 Cadillac Eldorado automatic. There were no headline message on the message box or SES light on, nothing. Then I got pulled over by the cops because he thought I was driving drunk, but really though my rear defroster and my front window was frosty and I couldnt see anything! PLEASE HELP I NEED ANSWERS . Need estimate on cost at mechanic or any tip on how to fix this my self! Thank you and drive safe! @ anon.. I didnt notice anything on the ground/snow after getting out of it. Just some hard snow and ice with scrapes but no sign of damaged hoes or wire. It could be the fuse but another problem is I dont have a fuse box or manual to actually located wat fuse is what. Lol sorry, if anybody doesnt mind helping me out, would you nicely look up a fuse manual for 97 eldorado for me PLEASE I tried google, but no luck @ anon.. Do you think the 92-02 cadillac eldorado will become a classic some day?

I was wondering this question because i know cadillac stop making eldorados after 02 models. I have a 97 with 91xxx miles convertable imitation top gold trim all around. Is this car worth keeping or stored??

Need a Cadillac experts opinion!?

So, I'm 16 years old with a Toyota Avalon. I've been lusting for a Cadillac Eldorado since I knew what cars were. Now, since I have a toyota, im used to no repairs needed ever and relatively good fuel economy. I have read quite extensively on the reliability of the cadillac eldorado, but it's just impossible to know based on reading about it i guess. What I want to know is, if I buy a good used eldorado that was treated right would I be spending a lot of time and money in a repair shop compared to the toyota? I don't mind spending a hundred dollars on minor discrepancies once in a while, and I know that a cadillac requires a good maintenance plan. But in terms of repairs/money spent that would outweigh the lust of driving a caddy for a 16 year old and in terms of spending the extra dough on premium gas, is it worth it to get rid of my toyota and buy the eldorado?
