What is the cracking noise from under my Cadillac escalade driver's side front end?
I feel the vibrations under my feet but I can tell it is a bit more forward than directly under my feet. I liken the noise to a joint that needs some lubrication (like my elbow does sometimes). The noise occurs randomly and will last a couple seconds but it's pretty loud ( enough to hear over music playing). I can be driving straight or turning. What is usually under the driver's side floorboard? And what do you think the problem is?

Ok so the whole family was in car (4) and we were stoped and all of a sudden screech and Bam! Car flying into us... The person who ran the light got hit in the side due to the impact it caused them to slide and flip into us,our car is totaled not sure yet about injuries? What now? Do we get a new car? It was paid off just last month =< first car that was able to finace for 48 months all the others were like 72 months! I have $100 in savings that's it and yea I have insurance but not like million dollar coverage? Will they cover all medical bills and if hubby can't work he's the only employed one... And we have a mortgage to pay too... The others had insurance too. The car we had was a 2008 Cadillac Escalade
