Is this car fit for a teenager?
I'm going to be driving in about 6 months, and the car I will have is a red 2004 Buick LeSabre Custom, Limited Heritage Edition. You won't find many pictures of this specific one because it was specific to the dealership. The only noticeable difference is the air scoops on the side, which are only for aesthetic purposes. But it's a luxury car, and it has leather interior and pretty much everything that a Cadillac would have. It's really safe, and has a steel frame. I'm just wondering if this car is what you would picture a teenage guy driving.
No I don't want to show off, I just want a "normal" car. As for the gender thing, some cars just look girly to me, that's all.
What is the cracking noise from under my Cadillac escalade driver's side front end?
I feel the vibrations under my feet but I can tell it is a bit more forward than directly under my feet. I liken the noise to a joint that needs some lubrication (like my elbow does sometimes). The noise occurs randomly and will last a couple seconds but it's pretty loud ( enough to hear over music playing). I can be driving straight or turning. What is usually under the driver's side floorboard? And what do you think the problem is?

What makes my engine surge at idle?
My son has a 1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham V8-305 5.0L
When he starts it (cold engine), the engine will surge at idle until it warms up (closed loop?) then starts idling smooth. While it's surging, the exhaust stinks very bad and there's some exhaust smoke. Smoke quits and doesn't stink as bad after the engine gets warm. Smoke is a kind of greyish-brown color. After he bought the car, he found out that it has no catalytic converter on it. We have a catalytic converter to put on it but I don't want to put it on until we get the surging fixed. I'm afraid we could contaminate or ruin a new converter. Any suggestions of what we should check while troubleshooting?
