I just can't decide what to get. I have always liked the older trucks so ill probably get one 1980-2002. It's gotta be 4x4, long bed, standard transmission. I have driven a dodge ram cummins turbo diesel and was amazed at it's pulling power and acceleration. I was thinking about getting the diesel engine for mpg, but i dont know if it's worth it with fuel being so expensive. The cummins engine is about the only thing I like about the dodge. I heard the ford gassers are good. I dont know about chevy. Here's my choices
Ford F-150/F-250/F-350 gas or powerstroke turbo diesel
Chevrolet Scottsdale K10/K20 gas
Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500 gas
Dodge ram 2500 cummins turbo diesel
Give some reasons why I should get one over the others

The turn signals in my Chevrolet Cobalt are acting weird. How can I fix them?
I have a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS and the oddest thing happened with the turn signals today. I was driving as usual and I put on my right turn signal and the noise that it makes was going twice as fast as it usually goes. I made my turn and it clicked off as usual. Then I put on my left turn signal, and it was fine. I thought that it might just be some kind of electronic glitch, so I arrived at my destination and I turned off my car and didn't worry about it. Then, when I went back out to my car, I turned it on and then turned on the right turn signal. It was still going twice as fast. Then I left it on, and I looked at my lights. The front light on the right side was going twice as fast as well. I went to check the back, and the back light was not flashing at all. Something is definitely going wrong. I even put the left turn signal on and got out of my car to make sure that the lights were working on that side and they were going the usual speed and both were working... I am going to consult my Owners Manual, but I thought I'd also post this on Yahoo, because other people might have had similar problems. The car has about 45,000 miles on it, it's in great condition, and it's not extremely cold out. I know that sometimes cold weather can affect these things, but I don't think it's that. I have also heard that sometimes it is necessary to detach the battery and then reattach it and that might help as well. I think it could just be a fuse or something, but then why would the turn signal be going twice as fast... Let me know what you think and any possible solutions! Thanks!
What should my first car be?
I have a budget of about $7500 and I'm looking for either some form of a foreign sports car like a nissan or Toyota, that's rear or four wheel drive, or a heavy SUV that looks good lifted, like an excursion or a Tahoe. Or some sort of classic, like a 56 ford f100, or a Chevrolet or challenger project car.
1997 Chevrolet Lumina overheating?
210,000 miles, new thermostat, new upper hose, all of the air had been bleed out of the system. It will idle fine, but when you drive down the road, it will show hot on the temp gauge. Any ideas?

I just finished installing a V8 w 350 turbo tranny in my 1992 s10. Now my friend tranny has gone out in his 1995 Chevy S10 pickup Ls Ext. Cab short bed 2wd w/auto tranny. I have a spare 400 tranny that I would love to install, but I don't know if the bell-housing dimensions are the same or similar as the auto tranny (stock) that's in his truck already. Will the 400 tranny fit in his 1995 S10 extended cab truck?
I forgot to add that he has a: 4.3L V6 OHV 12V engine w/4speed auto tranny.......
