Is the 2013 Dodge Dart a Chick Car?
What do you think of this part of chapter 15 in my story?
This is the beginning of chapter fifteen.
Just so you're not completely lost when you read it: the character's are trying to get inside a castle kind of place but realised that there were traps and stuff.
I'm worried about the 'action' kind of part in it. Please help me out if you can. :)

Nate ripped apart the paper given to him from Leo and scrunched them into little balls. He stepped closer to the concrete.
“Ready?” he asked, heart racing. He threw two hands full and watched as they scattered. They waited. Then there were a series of clicks as the little weight of the paper registered on the concrete and spikes began shooting up, piercing right through the small ball of paper.
“GO!”
Leo and Bel darted after Nate. He was quickly weaving in between the stone spikes, occasionally grabbing at the tip of one and using it to propel himself forward. They all sprinted for the double doors ahead.
Too soon, loud thunk’s signalled that the spikes were going back down, getting ready to shoot back up. The three were barely making headway now that the spikes were sinking. Scattered pieces of paper were no longer serving as something to shoot at.
“Hurry!” Nate shouted as he heard the spikes beginning resurfacing behind them. They were gaining. Then all three leaped forward. The last stone spike grazed Bel’s ankle just as they landed on the platform outside the door.
The last of the spikes shot up and then sunk back into the ground. They all watched as the concrete they just ran on returned to looking harmless and normal.
“We’re safe?” Leo panted.
“Unbelievable,” Nate breathed, turning around as he began to think of what could have happened if they didn’t make it. They barely dodged the last and landed heavily on an ebony square big enough to hold three people.
It seemed to him like it was placed there just for this purpose.
His eyes went to Bel. She was clutching her ankle. He moved to sit next to her awkwardly.
“You OK?”
Leo got up as well. Nate was going to say something but Bel promptly extended her legs and Nate saw the wound. Her right ankle’s skin was split into the shape of a four pointed star and it bled. Her eyes were watery but she wiped it away.
“Sit still,” Leo said. “You have to fix your wound up otherwise you’ll delay us.” He got up.
“Has anyone else got a bandage or something?” he asked. No one answered. Like they’d have bandages on them.
“Right then what about some fabric?”
“Don’t worry about it.” Bel’s voice was traced with impatience. She put her arms down next to her to prop herself up. She managed to stand, but was limping.
“Just sit down,” Leo snapped. He made quick work. He shrugged out of his blazer and tugged on a loose thread hanging from the sleeve, unravelling it quickly. Then in the middle of the sleeve, it came apart. He grabbed the sleeve and put his blazer back on. His right arm was now bare. He picked off a few loose threads before crouching down by Bel’s feet, sleeve in hand.
“Lift your feet up a bit,” he commanded. Bel did as she told with a frown. Leo slipped the sleeve over her shoe, tugging slightly to get it over and onto her ankle so it covered it, stopping the blood flow. “There,” he said, standing back up.
“Are you okay with your uniform like that?” Bel said, getting back up again. The fabric was rough around her ankles, but at least it stopped her blood from dripping everywhere.
“You’re welcome,” Leo replied, then turned away, folding his arms across his chest. Nate suppressed a sigh and turned back to Bel.
“Can you go on?” he asked. Bel nodded.
“It doesn’t hurt,” she lied before turning back to the double brass doors. They were painted a deep red and had black and bronze engravings around the borders of it. “Let’s keep moving.” She reached forward to push at the doors. Nate reached up and stopped her.
“It might not be safe,” he said, hand on Bel’s wrist, centimetres from the door.
“This whole ordeal isn’t safe,” Bel said. Nate let go of her and she reached forward and pushed. Leo turned around and saw along with them how easily the front doors swung open, just like how the gate had.
This thought was lost when Nate looked at the structure inside. There was a long winding staircase directly in front of them. The lights were a flickering yellow coming from the candles on the walls. There also hung many gold, ornate picture frames, all of Victorian style, but they held nothing.
As the three stepped inside, the doors behind them swung closed with a loud bang. All three jumped at the noise and turned back. Nate tried opening the door again, but found it was sealed shut. He turned back, heart thumping. He didn’t have to say, the other two already knew they were trapped.
