My truck needs upgrades!?
My first car is my dad's truck, it's a 2001 Dodge ram 1500 V8 Magnum I think it's a club cab, there's a lot of stuff wrong with it, like the transmission is going out, there are tons of cracks and holes on the dash board so every time it hits a bump it feels like the dash is gonna fall into my lap, there's dents all over the car from fender benders and misc. punches to the side of the truck O.O lol but im not sure what is urgent enough to upgrade first and what can wait. ON A BUDGET thanks!
99' dodge ram v10 magnum 8 liter, running rough?
took truck to shop and they started with spark plugs (replaced 8 of the 10 as the 8th one broke off in head and they were able to easy out it but said if the other 2 break head needs to come off for an additional 600 out of my pocket), air cleaner and sprayed some stuff in throttle body, said diagnostic machine is pointless because it didnt trip the check engine light. Truck seems to have occasional trouble starting but always starts, upon take off or acceleration it wants to "fall" on its face to the point it dosent even want to shift. I floored it tonight and it was like a slug (and I thought I could smell fuel but maybe it was me being paranoid) , it seems to do fine once I got it going and it gets past the initial cutting out point and at highway speeds but or putzing around town it just dosent have the power it had.I really dont want to pay the shop 90 bucks an hour to go through the process of elimination, heck, i can try that myself to an extent..Thought maybe Id start with a fuel pump and filter..any feedback or people that had similiar problems?

My truck revs up and down in park?
Ever since I got my truck inspected ive noticed that my 2001 dodge dakota will rev while it's in park. Normally my truck will do about 500-700 rpm in park upon normal idle. But now my truck will go in between 900-2000 rpm in park. So is this a good or bad thing??

Whether this is important but I did pour in STP complete fuel system cleaner three days before inspection
5.2 magnum dodge dakota intake gasket?
could a blown intake gasket cause coolant to leak outside of the engine? pressure test reveals coolant leak at a spot where intake meets head in a corner area of the front of the engine any help? it was not timing cover of water pump the plugs on that side of engine did have a white soot on them i did notice small white smoke and water in tailpipe when running

i have an 05 dodge magnum RT and i just recently installed some CCFL angel eye halo projectors headlights with LEDs...im having trouble with my HIDs flickering then shutting off when the car is on.The lights are fine when the car is off or the key is in the on position with the light switch on.sometimes one side will go flicker and go out.they ar H1 bulbs with 35w...8000k setup.ive done research but came to find it could be multiple problems causing it and more than one solution...relay harness...capacitors..bad ballast..?????

im looking to buy this vehicle. Its about 2k looks great an runs an drives good. Is there any issues with this model truck/motor that i should be aware of?? So many times i have a vehicle an dont know the big issue until i go to get it repaired to only find out thats the expensive model to work on.Thanks.
its auto..an looks great but maybe too much truck an power for a 19 year old boy.
