$1000 car student monthly payments?
okay so i found a dodge neon on craigslist for $1000 i need a little move shooter to get me from point A to B im a college student and I wanted to know what would be my monthly payments for a 1000 dollar car?
what is wrong with my neon?
when i put my dodge sx 2.0 into drive it sometimes doesnt go.
especially from reverse to drive, and if it ends up going into drive it JUMPS.
im not sure whats wrong with it but i am afraid to go anywhere in the car where i need to park in a parking spot, cause when i need to leave the parking spot from reverse, it may not go into drive and illl be stuck .
HELP???

what is wrong with my car if it wont stay crack while in gear?
i crack up my 1995 dodge neon and it will start and run for a minute but when i put it in gear and go up the street after about 10 mins it cuts off. no sounds of anything it jus goes dead like i unplugged the battery and rolls until i apply the brake. what is wrong? HELP!!!!

1995 Honda Accord lights dim and stereo shuts off when subs hit?
I have a 1995 honda accord with around 200,000 miles on it.
I just put 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P3's and a 2000 watt amp in it.
They hit pretty hard and worked fine in my friends car (2003 Dodge Neon, stock altenator and 1 battery), then 10 minutes later we put it in my car. When the bass hits hard, the lights dim REALLY low. And after about a minute of playing them loud...the whole system shuts off including the head unit. But all my lights in the car stay on. The car is running while this happens too.
So what could be the problem? The battery is brand new. Could i need a stronger alternator? Or 2 batteries? Would the stock alternator power 2 batteries? And would doing the big 3 upgrade help in this situation?
I've seen everywhere that in this situation a capacitor COULD help. But would it be worth buying to try it out? I don't have a ton of money since i just spent most of it buying the subs and amp.
Please don't get into a huge debate about capacitors, i just need some advice from someone who really knows what they are talking about, not a troll on the internet.

Strange sound on my 98 dodge neon?
I have a front wheel drive 98 neon and just within the last couple of weeks I've noticed that while turning the steering wheel at a low speed, it sounds like bubble wrap being popped. What could be going on?
i was thinking maybe something to do with the u joints. would the boot and lack of grease also have anything to do with the shifting being very stiff while trying to go into reverse for the first time. it doesnt always happen but sometimes
i just got under the car and checked the boots but they seem to be intact and my hands came out completely clean
Did I bust my radiator hose?
I have a dodge neon that had very bad motor mounts on it. I got them replaced yesterday but we has to replace the lower radiator hose because something poked a hole in it. The next day I had to drive a little over a hour and out of nowhere I feel some kind of stutter in the car. It wasn't very strong but it was noticeable. I drove maybe 100 feet down the road and I hit a red light. When I pushed the gas to go the engine sounded like it was revving really high and it wouldn't go. I managed to get it across the intersection and on the side of the road. I put my hazards on and a cop stopped and said I was leaking something. I got out and looked called my boyfriend and he told me to check the fluids. Oil is perfect and the transmission had not even a drop left. The tire was drenched! Ugh! What could be wrong?
Dodge neon loosing coolant?
1997 neon 2.0 sohc 200k miles on heads. Well its been using coolant. So i replaced the thermostat and i had the water pump and timing replaced. It still looses coolant. I Do not see leaks but im thinking maybe it has a leaking head gasket? It doesn't have a milk shake oil. Antifreeze color is the same. Everything is normal but sometimes you can smell coolant thru the vents. and when you turn the car off it has a funny smell. Any help? It goes thru about a cup full of coolant ever 3 or 4 days.
What is the difference between Dodge Neon SXT?
I am looking to buy a car and found a Dodge Neon SXT. i am 19 so i need my insurance to be fairly low. i am hoping that sxt isnt a sports version that would drive my insurance up? i am just wondering if the sxt is simply just the trim and power option package seening as its still a v4?
