Cost of shocks and struts on an 01 focus?

Does anyone know if the spoilers on Ford Focuses help it with the air flow?
I was considering buying a '11 Focus and it has the spoiler. Since spoilers on cars are on there just for looks, does it at least make the air flow better on the Focus or does it drag the car a little?
Has anyone tried to do the opposite to the norm put an older engine in a newer car ?

I know this would be retrograde normally, but anyone know if someone has ever tried to put an older engine in a newer car and road tested the car ? i.e. instead of putting a ford zetec from a ford focus in an escort mk1 or mk2 putting a pinto engine in a focus etc ? any info and examples would be appreciated if at all possible.

I have a ford focus and when I push the brake pedal it jumps?
The brake pedal jumps and then a loud thudding noise comes from the rear driverside brake drum. It sounds as if its stuck or like something in a barrel rolling around even after I let off of the brake it continues for a little ways then it stops until I hit my brakes again..

Steering will "ticks" to the left at low speeds?
At low speeds, generally below 10mph my steering wheel will jerk or "tick" to the left and the car will also go in that direction. We are currently changing out tires to see if that helps, but we are down to two tires that could possibly be the problem with still no fix. It is possible that I need an alignment, but is there anything else that could possibly cause this?

Wheel ticks like a clock at lower speeds.
Steering wheel is shaky at higher speeds but does not tick to the left.

Found out after taking off the last tire that the tire itself was warped.

2006 Ford Focus door latching mechanism?
I have a broken door handle on my drivers side door on my SES 2006 Ford Focus Sedan.
I went to NAPA and bought a replacement door handle but upon taking off the inside plastic ( exposing indoor mechanism ) I found that the handle itself wasnt the issue but the latch the handle moves to engage the linkeage that opens the door.
I found pieces of this part on the bottom of the hollow door frame, however not a part number.
I have searched google for an Illustrated Parts Catalog and they want me to pay and I'm not about to do that for a 5 buck part.
I'm tempted to remove the passenger side part and use that but either way I'd still be without a door.
I don't want to send it in because I know it's a cheap fix and I'm a bit of a mechanic
Any ideas or references to sites that will lead me to the part?
Can a Ford Focus XR5 Turbo Body Kit be put onto just a general Focus TDCI?
I have planned to buy a 2010-2011 Ford Focus TDCI. As this is a diesel car it will last a long time, which is what I want. Although I want to be 100% happy with its appearance - I am looking to have the whole, "mean" "fast" "sharp" look and I think that the XR5 Turbo's Body Kit is perfect. (Don't say "Why don't you just buy an XR5 Turbo then?" I am not buying one because my purchase is based on Fuel Economy) Anyway, to the point... Can the XR5 Body Kit be purchased and placed onto a basic shaped Focus? Or are there specific modifications I need to make?

I have Drive,the number 2,and the number 1. Now I figure that the number 2 means gear 2 and the number 1 means gear on but
1:What is the point of gear 2 and 1 and can you drive in gear 2?
2:When driving in gear 2 do you burn more gas than just driving in D
3:What is gear 2 good for i use in when the road is wet because it doesn't slide as much is that good?
