Ford issue! *surprise!!!*?
anyways me being terribly biased aside. 2005 ford mustang GT 5speed has NEVER seen a winter the speedometer is starting at 180KM/h and treating that as its 0 point, is there any way to reset this? ford is charging $100 to set it up to even investigate. thinkin they'll charge way to much to fix it,

would you buy this mustang?
im looking at a 2003 ford mustang gt. manual 5 speed. good condition. 120000 miles. price is high but if i pay cash i could get better deal. asking for 8 grand, blue book says almost 7. anyway are the miles ok? can i get another 100 thousand miles from it if taken care of? ive always been a honda guy so dont really know much about fords. any advice is appreciated...o and its a v6
95 ford sable fuse box interior melted power window fuse spot?
In my fuse box, the previous owner said there was a problem. not sure if the wire was bad or too much voltage because of the wrong fuse resulting in melting the spot for power window fuse and maybe thats why my windows cant go down at all. everything else works fine it seems but my windows.
I don't have the money to buy a diffrent car neither am i gunna try to bring it to a dealer to get charged an arm and a leg. just gunna do it myself.

Ford Air suspention PUMP replacement> how do you remove the air line properly?
I am replacing the air suspention pump in my navigator.
I have the pump out, and I am trying to detatch the air line from the pump, it appears that the type of fitting is a push in one time deal kind of seal.
The New pump has a brass female tube with some teeth on the indise, and it looks like you put a plastic tube inside it and once its in its in.
The old pump appears to have the same fitting, should I pull on the black hose or pry at the red plastic ring that would remove the brass tube inside the old pump?

Do performance headers help increase fuel economy?
I drive a 2007 ford mustang GT and i'm trying to modify it for performance and fuel economy. (so basically i'm trying to do mods such as intake. No supercharger cause that will only help performance but murders economy) I guess i'd like to see a list of mods that improve fuel economy. also do headers help improve fuel economy? I've read that they actually worsens it and have also read that it improves it. What about an X-pipe instead? thanks guys

How can I make my 1997 Ford Mustang GT faster without having to buy any upgrades or spend any money? I am 16 and I recently purchased a 1997 Ford Mustang GT and I want to make it faster. I am basically broke and my job doesn't starts until another 4-5 weeks so therefore I have no money to spend. I want tom make it faster without upgrades... So is there something I can clean like the air intake or put more PSI in the tires please let me know thanks !
1964 Ford Thunderbird Engine Swap (Should I Do It)?
I found out that my 1964 Ford Thunderbird's original FE390 engine has to be completely rebuilt in order for it to work properly. I'm only 17 and I've never rebuilt an engine before but I have another option. About 2 years ago, my Dad gave me a rebuilt FE390 out of a 1967 Mustang GT. My question is: should I just rebuild the old engine or should I put the newer rebuilt engine in? The newer 390 has about 30 more horsepower then the old 390 but it's not the original engine that was in the car. Thanks for your opinion!
What is my catalytic converter worth?
I have the stock "H-Pipe" from my 1990 Ford Mustang GT that I replaced with a larger aftermarket pipe. The stock pipe looks like it has 4 converters on it. I have it for sale on Craigslist right now, but I am wondering if I am making a mistake by selling it instead of scrapping it. Does anyone know what something like that would be worth? I know people sell them to scrap yards for a decent price, I just want to see if I could make a little extra cash by scrapping instead of selling. Thanks in advance.
