I drive a 2004 Ford Taurus. Check engine temperature came up to today. Why is this and what can I do to fix it. Also how much will it cost.
Can I insure a car with deployed airbags?
I recently got a '96 ford taurus from a family member. The airbags deployed in a minor accident before I got it, and they definitely aren't worth replacing. Is it insurable without the airbags or should I just junk the car now and start looking for something better?
Paying off car...should I take it to college?
I am buying a car for $3000 (Ford Taurus). I will be paying it off until about September of next year when I go to college. Should I take it with me? I will probably go to the Univ. of Washington (Seattle) so there is a great bus system there. I just don't know...I work at BK so I am earning it but I don't know what I should do. Help!

2003 ford taurus se - possible air intake problem?
Ok my ford will raise rpms ever so slightly when in idle every 10 - 15 seconds and also when in drive regardless if I'm pushing the the pedal. Now that doesn't happen all the time but a lot.
Today and one other time I was on the highway driving to the next down over 15 miles away, and it died on me. No check engine light came on and I was back driving after 15 mins. Right before that happened though the car started shaking when I was pressing on the gas trying to accelerate. After that I pulled over, came to a full stop and then died. Same thing both times.
I have another thing with the car that might be related. I had to change the ac compressor some months ago and when I did all the freon leaked out from this big hose assembly in the front of the engine. I don't run the ac at all though.
A guy helped me today and he says it sounds like an air intake prob, but I don't know cars so I can't concur with what he says.
Any ideas? I'm so lost and if this something simple id like to do it myself. Thanks to all who help and god bless.
Battery meter question?
I have a 1995 ford taurus SHO. It doesn't have a battery meter in with the speedometer and stuff. I want to put an audio system in it with subs and new 6x9s. But I don't know how I'm supposed to know what my battery charge is or if my alternator is being strained without seeing a battery meter. Any suggestions?

I just had 1200$ new parts put init and i hope they consider this. I think the kbb value is like 2500 to 2800.
Only thing wrong with it is the a/c doesnt work. And one small dent.

Serious 2001 ford Taurus problem...?
My friend and I were installing a sub in a Taurus, and something happened. We turn on the car, and the airbag light is on, the ac won't work, the stereo won't work,the trunk button doesn't work, and the power windows don't work at all, and the headlight high beam light is always on even when the cars off. Holy **** help please.
