I have a 1995 Ford Windstar, and every time I hit the breaks, say at a stop sign, my motor starts to tremble or shake. Also the bell starts ringing too, like when you open the door and that little bell starts ringing, well that happens when i hit the breaks. any ideas of what this could be? my engine also wants to stop when i hit the breaks

i have a 2002 ford windstar and lately it has been missing. We have changed the spark plugs and wires. We have also put in transmission treatment. The transmission isnt slipping it just misses and not all the time. It does it sometimes in the morning when its cold and when we go up hill. I have a 2000 or 2001 ford windstar and it seems to be making a noise when I take off from a stopped position (if I creep a little before I go; I don't hear the noise). The noise sound sorta like a pop (like when you take the covering of a pringles can...but louder). Does anyone know what this might be?? Its in the front... to me sounds like on the passenger side, but to my husband he says drivers..so not sure.
