How to change a serpentine belt?
I have a 1996 Ford F150 5.0 V8 and i have to replace the belt cause its squeaking. I know how to take it off but how do you put the tension back on the belt?
backfire on acceleration?
Ok so I just bought a car, cheap, a couple hundred bucks. It's a 1987 Ford Mercury Marquise. It backfires constently (as in, non-stop popping) only when accelerating. It did it once when idling at a red light but hasn't ever since, only when I give it gas. I'm not sure what's up but I really hope it's not the coil pack, I don't have money to get them replaced. What do you think it could be? What could make it backfire?
BQ: I think it has a hard time downshifting. Whenever I start coming to a stop the car shakes pretty good. After it shifts to a lower gear, though, it stops. What could that be? And how much would it cost to repair?

How do I fix my car door?
Hi there, a while back I noticed that my car door (drivers side) would not unlock when I turned the key. The other door unlocks and lock fine and the drivers door does lock but wont unlock if that makes sense.
I took it to a garage and they said it is something likly wrong with the key barrel
My car is a 1996 Ford Fiesta

I have a problem on a X reg Ford Fiesta, the drivers side inside door handle is stuck out and cant open, but the door still operates on the key from the outside. when i push the handle in, i can see the rod start to bend, can anyone help?
how do I fix excessive car emissions on my 2002 Ford focus?
I went for my MOT today and failed because of excessive car emissions, where a grey / blue smoke was pouring out of the exhaust at about 2500 - 3000 revs

The mechanic told me to try and find an additive to put in the oil and redo 2 times and give it a BLAST!
Is there anything else I can do before I try this or if it does not fix this
and if any body knows what this problem could be?

So my friend knows someone who can get a really good deal on one. I just got my ranger a couple weeks ago and I am really excited to get this roll bar. I got the guys number and to call and work out a price, but I don't know if I know enough to talk to him.
I am not picky and I will take what he is willing to give me, but what should I ask for specifically? And what price should I ask for? like 100-150?

Ford focus radio code?
Hi.
I need the radio code for my Ford Focus radio. Its a 52 plate UK Focus.
I have a code that didn't work and I tried some random combinations (0000, 9999 etc) and now I've locked it.
The serial number is M008416.
I understand that if I leave the battery disconnected over night I should be able to renter the code ?
