Is the Jeep Wrangler 1997 a good first buy?
i'm considering buying a jeep wrangler for my first car and im wondering if it's reliable and has good mileage to the tank. It's done 160,000km's which im not sure is good for the model. my mum has a jeep cherokee which is great but it just can't go where a wrangler can.
the price they're asking for is 13,000 but this is with additional features: ARB safari snorkel, 9000lb warn winch, UHF 2 way radio, clarion audio system, ARB bullbar with spotlights, rhino sidesteps, 2 1/2" suspension lift, brake pads replaced, new pro comp all terrain tyres.

I am going off to college pretty soon. I am most likely going to be attending the University of Arizona and so I will be living in dessert weather. I want to get my first car soon and so I was wondering which of the two I should get. I love both for different reasons but am stuck on choosing which one to get.
Buying and selling stolen property?
I have been restoring my jeep for about 2 months now. In the process of this project, I have purched jeep parts in bulk from multiple people, kept what I needed for my project, then sold the rest. It helps offset the expenditures of my project. Apparently, one of the "bulk" purchases was from a stolen jeep. Now I have a detective showing up at my house saying that he thinks I am part of the theft, the insurance fraud, or at the least, dealing in stolen property. I know this really does not look good, but I know the owner that the jeep was stolen from. I did not have anything to do with it. What in the world do I do now?
I spoke with the detective for about an hour at my house and quite a few times over the phone throughout the day. He insists that I have something to do with it. Is there anything other than just telling him that that I can do?

@ Roger...Thank you for the advice. However, I truly do not know more about the whole thing except what I have already stated. I bought parts from a guy, couldnt use them, so I sold them for a little profit. The detective has already called the owner of the jeep a lying piece of s@#*, and has told the owner that he is coming after me for dealing in stolen property. That carries a 15 year sentence ( maximum)...I definitely am at wits end here...I DO NOT want to spend a single day, or 15 years, locked up for something I did not do. I do admit that I have definitely made bad and improper decisions in my past, but this is not my past.

It stalls when it rains our really bad, then sometimes just whenever it whats without warning. I have replaced, the fuel pump and filter, the crank shaft sensor, the map and throttle position sensor. done a full tune up on it... idk what else to do.
question about subwoofer box?
I have two 12" Kicker comps and I had them in a rectangular box but they were in a jeep wrangler so I had to buy a smaller box so I could have my back seat. But now they distort at a lower volume then they did in the bigger box! Did I do something wrong or is it because the box is smaller?

my standered tranny wont go in gear when motor is up to running temp?
i got a 95 yj and the tranny will go in gear when the motor is cold but when its up to running temp it wont go in gear unless the jeep is rooling or turned off
