Hi,
So I am trying to figure out if I am bisexual or just bi curious? I am 16 and half, and have been with a boy for 1 year and a half, we broke up a month ago.
I lost my virginity to him and I have had countless male sexual experiences. Since i can remember I have looked at girls in a different way to how i believed my girl friends do. At parties for example i find myself checking out girls just as much as boys, and would jump at the chance to get with a girl. Some of my straight girl friends and I have got off before but they put that down to being drunk, and they always pull away because they're 'uncomfortable' whereas i wasn't uncomfortable whatsoever.
I've never had any sexual experiences with girls other than kissing, and I really would love to.
My only problem with classifying myself as bisexual is I feel I get that butterflies in my stomach thing with guys and rarely get it with girls? Not sure if this might be due to the fact that obviously there are more straight guys than lesbian/bisexual girls and so if I know i don't have a chance maybe I just see them as unattainable as don't get that same thrill? But I have a very close friend, who has come out as a lesbian in the past year or so, who i can honestly say I have had a crush on for like 5 years! Very happy when she came out as a lesbian and when we talk we flirt, and i get that same butterflies feeling...She always jokes and says I'm bi and that her 'gaydar' picks it up ha ha.
I understand a lot of girls my age go through bi curious stages but I feel like this is a lot stronger than my other friends? For example, I would go down on a girl, whereas my other 'experimental' girl friends would not.
So yeah, any opinions? Any are welcome, but preferably bisexual/homosexual girls? :)
