1992 mazda 626 cutting out when accelerating?
I have a 1992 mazda 626 with the ford engine.
It suddenly started cutting out and miss-firing at about 1500 rpm, but it seems to start and idle just fine. It won't even accelerate above 1700 rpm if you have it in gear. If parked and slowly pressing the throttle-body, it will accelerate up to about 5000 rpm but only if it is moved slowly.
I replaced the fuel filter with no change. Just not sure what to check next or what could be causing this....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Now it won't start..
I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and it shows 40 psi before and after cranking it over. When starting to crank it comes down quickly to 33 psi then with drops down by about 5 psi with each revolution after that until it seems to bottom out at 10 psi. When I stop cranking over the engine, it jumps right back up to 40 psi.
Would that indicate a problem with the fuel pump, pressure regulator, or something else???
How much is insurance on a Mazda RX8?
Looking into getting an RX8 and probably going to need full coverage. Anyone care to share what price range full coverage would be. I'm 26 and have one accident but no tickets on my record.

Hello. I have a 1998 Mazda 626 LX car. We have changed spark and all wires but it still tries to start but can not. It also smells gas. What could be the problem?

2002 Mazda protege clutch has no pressure?
I have a 2002 Mazda protege LX. I just changed my clutch master cylinder and did a reverse bleed. The clutch had pressure so i figured i'd bleed it the regular way for extra coverage. The pedal went down like it should, I tightened the bleeder screw, but now there is no pressure and i cant switch gears. Please help, i'm lost.

my parents finally agreed on getting me a car this spring, and after many research i am left with two cars that i guess will suit me the most.
1) Mazda 3 Skyactiv 1.6L
2) Hyundai Veloster 1.6L
i am not sure about whether the skyactiv will be avail. or not tho =(, i've heard from many users that the veloster is a bit slow than it's competitors, but am okay with that since i am not a fast driver.
