Mitsubishi Turbo Problems?
Ok, i went to go look at a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T. What i've noticed is, it doesn't have the stock turbo and was replaced with a bigger one. The car runs fine but when I give it throttle for boost, it bucks a lot. Like it kinda hesitates almost (its not lag). Would a bigger turbo affect the tuning of the car considering its not the stock one? The car does have a stock computer, its not upgraded.
This car is completely stock. the only thing upgraded was the turbo and a different BOV. The turbo spool up fine but when it spools up it jerks the car a lot.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Question?
Im looking to by my first car sometime in the next 3 months. i really want a mitsubishi Eclipse because of all the mods there are for it and its a nice looking convertible for not alot of money. Anyway, i want this car because i want to learn how to work on cars and install things like LED glow lights and new sound system and all that. Which of the follow coupe car is better?
I'm looking to buy a coupe car, my choices are the Infiniti G35, Nissan Altima Coupe, Hyundai Genesis coupe, Or the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Old truck or new car?
So i'm 17, a senior and am about to graduate. I drive a 98 chevrolet cheyenne (had it in the family since it was brand new) and it's got about 188k miles on it. No major repairs, replaced the alternator and fuel pump about 5 years ago. I have the v6 vortec and get about 20 miles to the gallon on average. should I keep it and drive to community college 3 times a week, or sale it and take what money I get from it and put it on on a down payment for around a $10,000 car? I'm thinking I should keep my truck, just asking for some opinions. (if I get a car, I am thinking a 03 mitsubishi eclipse (sporty, good gas mileage, good reviews)
Any ideas on performance parts for a 99' eclipse?
I am looking into tuning up a mitsubishi eclipse to straight up street race.. but I'm a little fuzzy minded on specifically what parts to get.. i just want to make it extremely fast, light, have a lot of torque, with a through the roof acceleration.. also I'm not against flashy non performance mods (ex. blow off valves)
Also it is a turbo 6 cylinder 4 speed manual

tweeters problem help?
hi i jus bought some new tweeters couple weeks ago for a 00 mitsubishi eclipse and i gone through 3 sets of tweeter everytime i play high music my drivers side crackles but i knot it isnt the tweeter because all the sets of tweeter i went through did it i checked the connected everything is wired good i checked my stereo setting balance,fade,etc but it still does it does anyone know what it could be maybe stock wires touching ground or factory amp
