Can I convert my Nissan's engine legally?
I'm getting (hopefully) a Nissan 300ZX in the next year as my first car. However, it's most likely going to have 100K+ miles on the clock already. In the next three years I plan to meet up with a few friends I know around the world here in the United States. Its a large plan that will require me to do about 10K plus miles of driving around the US and bits of Canada. I don't want to be on edge the whole time about the car messing up. So, before I go, I want to change the engine around.
I was thinking of a Chevrolet small block V8 to put in the car. I know that the 300ZX has been V8 converted a couple times but I'm wondering if it is legal (and possible) here where I live in Florida. I don't have much knowledge of how to do this and would most likely have a shop fit it if they could. I would also like to use the 300ZX's twin turbochargers on the engine.
Is this legal in Florida?

Help please with my 1991 300zx?
i bought a 1991 nissan 300zx as a gift for my husband. but it was cheap and need alot of work.....i just have a few questions if anyone can answer please?
or help.....im pretty mechanically inclined for a woman so dont worry i will get it.....
why does the car turn off when i turn the a/c on? also only blows air out the defrost pannels not the vents and the air is hot.
when i changed the spark plugs all 6 were wet on the bottom with oil some worse than others?
in the top of the engine where only air should be flowing there is burnt dry oil....?
when i get to 4th gear i hear a clunking noise underneath the car in the rear>?
the exaust makes a chuging gurgling noise when i stop at a light?
by the way its a 1991 non turbo automatic 300zx all stock .

1991 Nissan 300zx twin turbo insurance prices?
I'm 16, I know it'll be a shit-ton of money, but I have a pretty well paying job, anyway, I'm 16, it's a 1991 Nissan 300zx twin turbo, I make As Bs and a few Cs in school, no police record, not on drugs, dont smoke, come from a mid level income family, any ideas? I've heard it will be around 4 or 500 a month, is this true? Just an estimate would be great, thanks guys!!
FIRST CAR! NEED ADVICE!?
Ive been driving for a year and a half with my leaners, and in my last year of high school my parents are giving me $5000-$7000 for a first car. I want something sporty, fast and nice. And all those wise people with all your wisdom with the Honda civic and Camry ideas, THANKS but no thanks. Im a good driver, done driver training, and i want a good nice first car.
IDEAS - FORD MUSTANG 2005+ cause IMO 2004 and lower are girly. But are they good in the winter? Cause i live in Canda so i need to deal with a lot of snow.
NISSAN MAZXIMA 2 DOOR COUP 2004 - I know their not sport cars but i can put some money into it and they can look REALLY nice with a few mods.
And honestly any other suggestions? Im not a big fan of the mazda RX-8, I WOULD LOVE a nissan 300zx or 350zx but all the ones I've seen are over 5 g's. LET MEKNOW!

cost to fit a 6cluster set of lambo lights to a nissan 300zx?
just thinking of buying one as abit of a weekend thing, maybe do it up a little and have abit of fun with it! i hate the rear light cluster though, seen a few with lambo 6 cluster lights on the back and googled the lights, they arent too expensive but how big a job is it to fit them ?? anyone any idea on the price range? think it would be beyond my expertise level to try and do it myself
1988 Nissan 300zx Engine Swap?
I currently have a 88 300zx 2+2 with the non-turbo motor. recently the motor had blown and i have been looking at just doing an engine swap.
I really would like to swap it out for a motor out of a 90 nissan 300zx.
it's the VG30DETT engine and i was basically wondering if it was even possible and if so what all would i need to do in order to successfully accomplish this.
if it's not possible, i am open for other engines to try out.
also, if you know of any websites where i can research this in further detail on my own it would be a great help.
I have a 95 Nissan 300zx. How much is the avg. price for a timing belt adjustment and a tensioner replacement?
I would do it myself but I do not have the room at my house to do it. what is a fair price for a 120k timing belt job? thanks

I'm looking at a 300zx, and I was wanting to know what the crash test ratings are. If anybody knows, I would love to know. I have tried google, but was unsuccessful.
