What would be the cause of a Propeller like noise coming from the front end of my car?

We have a 2006 Saturn ion and just a few days ago I was driving down my hill and noticed that from the front end of the car, there was a noise that sounded a lot like a propeller. Now the audible varies depending on how fast I'm driving, the faster I drive he louder it gets. However, there is no noise that occurs if you sit and idle, and no noise if you sit in park and rev the RPMs. I am a little concerned and wanted to try and see what I'm dealing with before bringing it to the dealer who will charge an arm and leg just to look at it. PLEASE STATE SPECIFIC ANSWERS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. PLEASE NO OPINIONS

how important is this for my car?

my car is over 60,000 miles. it's a saturn ion. (not sure if that matters, but, whatever) i was talking to someone at the coffee shop, and they told me i need to get a 60k checkup done on my car. what does it entail? i'm not a car person- pretty much all i know is that i turn the key and it starts. don't waste my time, or yours, by being ignorant. .....saturn's out of buisness. i won't be taking it to the dealer anytime soon. (bad move) the owner's manual is like reading french. i don't understand a bit of it. i did have the 30k done, they said everything was fine. (seemed like a ripoff- i paid a fair chunk of change to have them say it was good) it gets regular oil changes and basic maitenence as suggested by the shop.

How to bypass interlock system on 2006 Saturn Ion?

My sister had to replace her steering column on her 2006 Saturn Ion 3rd edition 2.4... My dad replaced it. Well now the interlock system is on and now allowing the car to start. The people at saturn wont tell my dad how or where to fix it at. If you know how please let me know how to bypass the interlock system. Thanks alot.
