I'm looking into buy a used subaru legacy and I know when you buy cars your supposed to negotiate that price lower than the sticker price but how much lower? Would you be able to negotiate something from $13,000 to $11,000? Please help, I have no clue.
SUBARU 2008 LEGACY RESET SWITCH?
My mom was going to work and broke down. My step dad goes to see what was wrong and says she was out of oil....so another guy says that the car is designed to shut off when problems like this happen, it prevents itself from blowing up...problem is, we cant find the reset switch. We tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer and using a OBD, but there are no lights lit up on the dash. Anyone know where this switch is??

The thing is, this car was bought in El Salvador (Latin American version) and I would like to know if the connections from a US piece are going to function in the Latin American version, and if not if there is any possible kind of solution for making this piece work on my car.

Used cars? Subaru Legacy 2008, or Mazda Rx-8...?
I cant find any below $10,000. I don't care if its manual or automatic. Because when I turn 17 my parents said I can get a car. I cant remember what the price limit was but, it was below $10,000. I think it was about $6,000 to $8,000. I live in Spokane Washington. I need help finding car dealerships or someone that sells these 2 care for around this price and in decent condition. I would prefer the mazda rx-8 but the other works too.. I don't care what year the mazda is but i only like the 2008 subaru legacy. Any color.

Also, it says the Mazda Rx8 takes premium but some places i read say it can take unleaded which is a lot cheaper, except it reduces performance. Would that matter, if it reduces performance? I don't need the car for anything other than driving around in town and to my job.
Why won't my car shift out of park?
I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy wagon and sometimes it will not shift out of park. I checked the fuses below the steering wheel to the left and none of them seemed to be blown. When I press the button in on the shaft I hear a click coming from the steering wheel area. Currently, I have taken the assembly around the shaft apart and I can push the lever down to shift. There was a drink spilled on this area and I have cleaned everything so I'm thinking it is a wire or fuse I just need to know where and which one. Also, the light bulb that lights up the gear (R,D,1,2,3) has been out from sometime. (I this is just bc the bulb is out tho) Thanks for the help.

I have a 93 Subaru Legacy L Wagon. I want to know if i can take parts from newer Subaru's and just bolt em right on. Im looking for suspension, Body kits, hoods, seats, anything like that. Save your rude comments, Im not knowledgeable on Subaru's.
1995 Manual Subaru Legacy doing weird things!?
I don't know the repair history because it's my mom's car but, When you are driving in low gears to turn like in parking lots the car won't turn properly and shutters a lot as if it is going to stall even when you are driving it well and balanced. What could the problem be? I've heard some people say it could be the clutch or the transmission or timing belt and a lot of other things. I haven't been able to afford to get it checked out and i'm curious if this could be a high price fix and if so, how high?
Small, fuel efficient, reliable vehicle?
I'm looking for a new car. I've had a Subaru legacy outback wagon for a really long time, and she's getting pretty old and has a lot of problems. I'm now looking for newer used cars. I just don't know what's really reliable, good on gas, and not very expensive to fix. Looking for suggestions.
