Need help for first car?
Hey looking for my first car because I just turned 16, my budget is $15,000. So a 10,000 car so I have enough for insurance and other things. Any suggestions on a car? I don't want any street ricers like a turd toyota supra or Honda civic but I don't want anything that's like a family safe car. Something on the lines of a subaru 2.5rs. I have a 98' Subaru Outback Legacy wagon, the plainer looking model, not the multi-tone one, I'm the 2nd owner, immaculate condition, under 75,000 miles, no defects, no problems. But was wondering if it was worth it to keep paying for full coverage with auto insurance? Opinions please thank you!

Different brand cabin air filter?
I got a new cabin air filter for my 2009 Subaru impreza outback sport. The new one is an STP brand and doesn't have the plastic case and clip in front. It kind of just sits in the space freely. Does this matter?
do I need to rip the old one out of the old frame? it doesn't seem like a "quick connect" type deisgn
Do you think the clock setting in the car going off could be causing the burning smell in the car?
I also have a burning smell. The clock setting starts blinking after a couple of minutes of the engine running. Could it be the clock has a switch or wire that is burning? If so, what fix is needed? 1997 Subaru legacy wagon. Thx.
Stock rims on a subaru legacy 2007?
I have recently received the unfortunate news from my dealership that two of my rims are bent and i need 4 new tires. I am going to end up with michelins but i was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to buy two stock 2007 subary legacy rims at a discounted price. I have the five spoke (better ones) rims on my car and need two of them. Thanks for the suggestions
Should i buy a 2002 subaru impreza 2.5rs for a project/weekend car?
It has rust on the rear panels and also 250,000 miles on the body and 80,000 on the engine? It leaks oil and none of the wheel bearings or transmission parts have been replaced. i plan on dropping alot of money into it to make it the way i want. i would be buying it for 2000 to 2500. should i buy and fix up exactly how i want or should i just save up more and buy a garunteed better subaru with less miles and problems?
