Jerking when stepping trying to accelerate fast?
I own a 2000 Subaru legacy gt, standard transmission. One night I was messing around with a friend and launched from a light and I noticed it had a small jerk in the higher rpms. Next day driving it was a lot worse. If I drive conservatively its fine unless going up a hill but as soon as I lay into the gas it jerks more i lay into it the harder it jerks. I've noticed it runs its best when its cooler out or first couple mins of driving.
I've replaced my fuel filter and put a small bottle of injector cleaner in and plan on putting another in. Where do I go next? Fuel pump, possibly an ignition issue?
Some pros and cons of owning any of these cars?
So I've been looking around for a new car, around the 30,000 USD price range. I've narrowed my choices down to the Subaru Impreza WRX Limited, 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT, 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, and the Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S.
So basically what I want to know is, what are the pros and cons of mainly owning these cars (ie, maintenance costs, reliability, comfort, etc.). I realize some of these cars don't have the best mileage but I'm okay with that.
ALSO, if anyone have suggestions for cars other than the five I named, please let me know! I would truly appreciate it.

@George, thanks for the feed back, but I've look into the Genesis Coupe. Actually test drove one a couple weeks ago, but didn't really convince me to buy one.
05 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS oil problem?
I NEED help my 05 subaru 2.5 rs is acting weird, stuff i've never seen. First off sometimes we do a oil change and put in 4.5-5 quarts of oil, when we do this the dipstick barely reads anything at the tip. Sometimes, when i make sure its full according to the dipstick, then drive it around or just wait till the next morning it'll read like 1-1.5 quarts over. My most recent encounter, i did a 5 quart oil change, everything was reading fine, less than 1,000 miles later i had black stinky smoke coming from the exhaust , n the stick was reading bone dry. Please help me, any suggestions on what is happening, products i should try, (oil, sealant, etc), parts to replace and/or tricks and tips will be greatly appreciated.

Hi so my boyfriend met this guy(manny) who's had his car for 4 months and his son can't pay because he lost his job so he asked my bf(mike) if he wants to buy it. It's $325 a month. 2007 manual Subaru impreza.
Do you think he will get approved by the dealer? What are his options for financing? We are both fairly new to all of this.
Is there a fuel efficient car that can handle the outdoors?
I enjoy going on long trips to go hiking and camping. making these trips in my chevy is costing me big bucks in gas. I want the most fuel effeciancy I can get but in a car that can handle going off road without getting stuck. I am looking at Toyota Rav4 and Subaru Outback right now. I'm particularly fond of the Rav4 2 door version they made back in the 90's but does anyone have any better suggestions?

You gotta press the gas pedal a couple times and then once it starts its perfectly fine. Any ideas what this might be?
Do I need the AC belt on my 1998 2.5 L subaru?
the belt was squeaking..I tried to tighten/tension...broke the tensioner (broke between the pulley and threaded rod). So now, if I don't care about the AC and can live with the squeak, can I just leave the belt as is (loose) wo the tensioner?
