Does running a car on a rocks road gonna damage the car?
Here is my stupid question. I drove my Toyota Corolla on a road full of rocks for 30 mins driving between 30-40mph (I got lost and drove into a country roads.) Would it possible that it could damage my car, especially the bottom part, under that condition? would it be too much if I bring it in for check up just for that? I gonna take a long trip and I'm not quite sure should i ask the service to check it for me? Or if someone can provide some information to me on how to detect something is wrong with my car.
Which mustang model should I buy?
I am 19 and will be 20 in November. I’m planning to sell my car 2009 Toyota corolla because payoff till Jan 2017. I’m interested to buy a mustang fourth generation (new edge) and worth like 8k or less. One problem is which model (Base, GT, Mach, or Cobra) should I get? I don’t like to have a car with V-6 and run to 120mph as maximum speed lol. I’m interested to buy GT but my problem is auto insurance might high?
also, I want to know which auto insurance is cheaper for Mustang fourth generation? I tried GEICO quote and $230 monthly without collision coverage.
Why is car overheating so quickly?
I have a P-reg 1.3L petrol Toyota Corolla. Tonight I noticed that the temperature had crept up to midway very quickly (within a couple of minutes of starting from cold). I kept an eye on the temperature gauge and it continued to rise. I ended up making it to a petrol station by pulling over every few minutes to let the engine cool for 5 minutes. I topped up the coolant and let the engine cool down for around half an hour. By this point, the temperature gauge was around a quarter of the way round, not quite at mid point.
I continued to drive home, but kept having to pull over as the temperature was still creeping up towards the red pretty quickly. It seemed to cool to midway quickly once the engine was switched off each time.
What could be causing this and is it likely that I'll have more problems tomorrow, even though the engine will have cooled completely overnight?
I'm 24 weeks pregnant so don't want to set off for work only to get stranded somewhere!
Looking for backup camera for my car?
Hi there I am planning on buying a new stereo system for my Toyota Corolla 2008 and I am looking for a backup camera with an RCA jack that will plug right into the stereo. I also wanted to be on the rear license plate and wireless so I do not have to have it wired throughout my car.
If you know of any please let me know of any

Which car is better for a women that like small cars & has a newborn?
Which company makes the better quality cars? Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, Dodge, or Honda?
I'm looking to buy a car, but I'm not too car savvy. I don't know much about cars so I'm not trying to make a mistake in buying something that I will regret. Buying a new car is a commitment that takes years to fulfill so I don't want to get into something I'm not prepared for. I had test drove the 2012 Chevy Sonic and it drove very well, but it was a bit too small for me. Then I had test drove the 2012 Toyota Corolla, which I liked a lot more because of the increased space, while it also drove well. Maybe it was a mistake, but when the dealer at Toyota asked me what other cars I was considering, I told him the Chevy Sonic and he said that in under a year that car would be $10,000 less than it is now, so I'd be losing money by buying the Chevy Sonic. I don't know if this is true or just a bluff to get me to go with the Corolla, but I didn't want to take the risk. Dodge is coming out with a new car soon called the Dodge Dart. It looks pretty good, but you never know what a car is like until you get behind the wheel and take it for a spin. I haven't test driven a Honda yet, though I was considering the Honda Civic along with a Nissan Versa. I've been car shopping before but like I said, I don't know much about cars at all and haven't had much help in this process. And if I do buy a car, I'd want it to be the best choice I can make. Whether it's opinion or fact, which company makes the better vehicles out of the ones I just names?
Need help choosing a car?
Just recently sold our 1989 volvo 240 DL as the family car/winter beater, and we're looking for a new (old) car. My dad keeps bringing up getting a Toyota Prius (cant let that happen), so I need the help of you guys to help me find a car thats good on gas (not expecting anything 35+mpg or more than $5000). As the primary driver of the car, I want something that has a little bit of kick, rear wheel drive, and not something prius-related (toyota corolla). I really wanted to get this car :http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bnc/cto/3008582197.html but the fuel economy isnt that great. I like the look of the car though, not too flashy, but not a piece of junk.
So in summary, I need a 1. fuel efficient car 2. under $5000 3. gets more than 25mpg 4. doesnt look like a chicks car. Thanks!
will my car start tomorrow?
i was at my friend's house for about 3 hours and left my car lights on by accident. When i left her house, my car started, and i drove home in about 15 minutes. But i have a job interview tomorrow, and am wondering whether leaving my car lights on for that long will cause it to fail to start tomorrow. I have a 2002 toyota corolla. I live on my own, so i don't have any cable jumpers, or anything of that sort.
My car saying idle and breaks are impossible to work?
On my 1999 toyota Corolla i put in a new starter the other day and after that my car has been staying in 2000 rpm after i turn it on, and then my brakes are stiff as hell so hard feels like trying to step on a brick, we had to remove the intake manifold to get to the starter and we put everything back together correctly the way we took it apart and everything is correctly bolted down so since i cant drive it until i get my brakes fixed
What kind size/kind of weather stripping is needed for a 1987 Toyota Corolla?
I need to replace the weather stripping on my driver side window and need to know what kind to get, or at least the dimensions and an idea of what I need. The last owner of the car tried to buy a new one but got the wrong one, and I was told by a friend that I needed to go to the dealer, but I don't see the point in going to the dealer for a simple weather strip. I just really need to know what kind so I can stop the leaks in my car. Please help. It is a 1987 Toyota Corolla FX16 GTS
