Which car is better? Toyota Prius-C or Toyota Yaris?

which should i get? im a girl

Is this Yaris worth the money?

Ive viewed and test drove a Toyota Yaris today an X reg (year 2000) 5door CDX 1.3 Automatic with 19 thousand miles on the clock. Its had one previous owner since new an old man who died. The price for the asking price by the independent dealer is £2995 and on Autotrader and other sites most cars of the similar mileage, spec etc are roughly the same price. The car is in good condition and drives well. Before anyone says anything im on a budget so can't afford a car that is much younger then this one. Also the reason im after a Yaris is because Toyotas are seen a very reliable, cheap to insure etc also my previous car was a Yaris which I liked alot. All in all what do you think, is it worth the money? I know there are younger cars out there for cheaper but the alot of them are not as good as a Yaris. please take into account I can also only drive an Automatic because of my licence. In an ideal world I would prefer a manual as they are cheaper and easier to find. Evelyn if I could get an 04 plate for that price I would, unfortunately I think you'll struggle to find one especially in an Auto. In a manual it may be possible but I doubt it.

First car

Ive been eyeing a couple of polo's at a reputable dealer. (1999 & 2001 plate). I realise im prob paying a slight premium. But i would feel more comfortable (searching privately has been a frustrating). Going through a dealer. Especially as this one comes recommended. My question however is. Am i spending too much? Or should i spend more?. Ive recently passed my test and consider myself quite a sensible/cautious driver (im no boy racer, im over 30 and female). This will be used for city driving, occasionally day trips and motorway use. I wont be using it to commute to work. Purely for social/shopping use so i can build up my confidence and improve on my driving. I intend to keep the car for a couple of years, maybe. Would you say the VW polo is a sensible choice? Or would i be better off spending less or investing more on say a toyota yaris or nissan micra? Thankyou for all the input. Yes it is an independent dealer. But a well know/respected one. Yes. I do ask myself would it be better goin for a newer car, rather then an older model. But my concern is reliability/safety, also esthetics. I do like the idea of the micra but prefer the newer bubble shape. Having not owned a car previously, i cant say size matters a great deal. I dont mind having a smaller car. Prob be easier on manouveres etc whilst sharpening my skills. Anyone have thoughts on the hyundai getz?. Ideally i would love a yaris. But it might mean paying more as everyone keeps telling me to go for low milleage. Does low millieage matter as much if the car has full service history? Ie. there are alot of high milleage honda civics around.. Would that be a good starter car?

1998 Toyota Yaris 1.0 litre- radio stopped working?

The radio, tape, clock and cig lighter aren't working, the fuses are all ok, any ideas what's wrong

Which would you consider to be the better first car?. The toyota yaris (1999-2003) or the vw polo (99-02). ?

Looking for my first car, but confused as to which might be better in terms of reliability/costs etc. I hope to keep the car for at least a couple of years ( maybe run it into the ground). Dont want to spend more then is necessary (1k-2k) as i know it will probably take a couple of knocks. Your input would be much appreciated!. Just to clarify im in the uk.

Can anyone tell me what my cars worth cause it has a salvage Title?

My car is worth 12,082 on Kelly blue book value but what’s my car worth on a salvage title? it runs & looks brand new and has been well taken care of.... 2007 Toyota Yaris 30,000 low miles 4-cyl, 1.5 liter fwd drive Automatic with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control. Dual & side air bags Tilt wheel power steering, mp3 Cd player all original Nice opinion Roger Thanks =)

Car won't start, only get some clicking. Any idea?

I went travelling for several months (over the winter) and came back to a car that refuses to turn on. The battery is certainly dead - no electronics work at all. So I tried jumping it, but I still can't get it to start - all lights etc work perfectly well when hooked up to a good battery. When I turn the key in the ignition, all I get is clicking from under the bonnet, which I think is the starter trying hard, but no more - it didn't crank or turn over. Assuming the battery is now fine and there is no visible corrosion around the battery, any ideas? All I can think is that the starter motor or the engine itself is seized. If it's not to big a job, I'm happy to turn this into a project I can work on on weekends... Just want to avoid paying a mechanic thousands for a car barely worth that much! It's an automatic 2000 Toyota yaris.

how can I sue the private car seller?

I Bought Toyota yaris 1999. At the time when i was buying it private seller told me that engine is in a good condition and have no problem. there was a constant sound from the engine but I didn't realise it. the day after my friend had a look on it and said that timing chain must be changed. I took it to the many garages and they said that you have to change the chain immanently and it cosst £600 . I was wondering if I can take the seller to the court. thank you Nirvan

Is the Toyota Yaris a manly car?

My friend has a white Toyota Yaris and he is wondering if it's considered a "manly" car or not.

If I lease a Ford Focus, will that Ford dealership maintain the car for me for free?

My friend leases her BMW and told me that they take care of the engine if anything happens to it. Does this include regular maintenance, like oil changes, filter changes, tire pressue, etc.? I want to get a Ford Focus or Toyota Yaris hatchback and don't know whether to lease or finance. I only want the car for a few years then plan on getting rid of it. I will be moving to a different country after I graduate from college in two years.
